Built to last

Warranty / Guarantee

Clear information about the care, craftsmanship and guarantee behind your Stow & Settle furniture.

Our Guarantee

Made for your space. Built with confidence.

Your Stow & Settle seating is made to order and designed for everyday life. We want you to feel confident in the furniture you choose, which is why every Stow & Settle seating product comes with:

10 YEAR

Structural Frame Guarantee

Covering the structural integrity of the furniture frame.

2 YEAR

Manufacturing & Mechanisms Guarantee

Covering manufacturing defects and fitted mechanisms such as drawer runners and lift-up storage mechanisms.

Both guarantees begin from the date your furniture is delivered and are subject to the terms below.

10-Year Structural Frame Guarantee

The structural frame is at the heart of your seating, so we guarantee it for 10 years from delivery.

The guarantee covers structural failure of the main furniture frame resulting from a defect in materials, manufacture or workmanship under normal intended use.

If we confirm that a structural fault covered by the guarantee has occurred, we'll arrange an appropriate remedy, which may include repair, replacement of the affected component or, where appropriate, replacement of the affected furniture.

2-Year Manufacturing & Mechanisms Guarantee

For the first 2 years from delivery, your furniture is also covered against manufacturing defects and defects in the mechanisms fitted as part of your seating.

This includes, where applicable:

  • Drawer runners and associated drawer mechanisms
  • Lift-up storage mechanisms
  • Fitted hinges and moving hardware
  • Manufacturing and workmanship defects
  • Assembly or construction defects attributable to manufacture

If something isn't working as it should, contact us and we'll assess the issue.

Upholstery, cushions & everyday use

Upholstered furniture naturally changes with use.

Normal characteristics such as the gradual softening or settling of cushions and fillings are not necessarily manufacturing defects.

The guarantee does not cover normal wear and tear or damage such as:

  • Staining or spillages
  • Accidental damage
  • Cuts, tears or snagging
  • Fabric damage caused by pets
  • Fading caused by sunlight
  • Damage caused by inappropriate cleaning products or methods
  • Normal fabric wear, movement or appearance changes
  • Normal softening and settling of cushioning

Always follow the care guidance supplied with your seating.

What's not covered?

Our guarantees are intended to protect you against genuine structural, manufacturing and mechanism defects. They don't cover damage resulting from circumstances outside the manufacture of the furniture.

This includes:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Accidental damage or misuse
  • Excessive or inappropriate loading
  • Damage caused by incorrect installation
  • Alterations or repairs made without our authorisation
  • Damage caused when moving, dismantling or relocating the furniture
  • Damage caused by damp, excessive moisture, heat or unsuitable environmental conditions
  • Failure to follow supplied installation or care instructions
  • Cosmetic changes that don't affect the function or structural integrity of the furniture

Bespoke & made-to-measure seating

Our guarantees apply to both our standard and bespoke seating.

Because made-to-measure furniture is manufactured using the dimensions and specifications agreed for your order, problems resulting from incorrect measurements or information supplied by the customer aren't considered manufacturing defects.

That's why we recommend taking particular care when measuring your space and following our Measuring Guide before placing or approving a bespoke order.

Skirting cut-outs & bespoke details

Where you've provided measurements for skirting cut-outs or other bespoke features, we'll manufacture your seating according to the dimensions agreed on your order.

Please check these measurements carefully before approving your order.

If we've manufactured something incorrectly against the agreed specification, that's different — please contact us and we'll investigate.

Making a claim

If you think there's a problem with your Stow & Settle seating, get in touch with us.

To help us investigate quickly, please provide:

  • Your name
  • Order number
  • Description of the issue
  • Clear photographs of the furniture and affected area
  • Video where this helps demonstrate a mechanism or movement issue

We may ask for additional information or arrange for the furniture to be inspected before confirming whether the issue is covered.

How we'll put things right

If we confirm that an issue is covered by your guarantee, we'll determine an appropriate remedy based on the nature of the fault.

This may include:

Repair → Replacement component → Replacement furniture

Where an identical component, material or finish is no longer reasonably available, we may discuss a suitable alternative with you.

Your statutory rights

Our 10-Year Structural Frame Guarantee and 2-Year Manufacturing & Mechanisms Guarantee are additional benefits provided by Stow & Settle.

They do not affect your statutory rights.

Nothing in our guarantee terms excludes or restricts any consumer rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.
